Bear with me here. I haven’t blogged in any form since Livejournalling my teenage angst over a decade ago. I’m assuming the only people crazy enough to care about this thing are close friends/people in my life so I’ll roll with that so I don’t feel so awkward, woo.
Alex and I went to dinner with friends last night and I promised them I’d sleep. I haven’t slept. Sorry friends.
On the bright side, I am packed and ready to go! As per friend suggestions, both Alex and I will be arriving in Tokyo with bags half full so we can fill them with lots of things.
WHAT’S IN MY CARRY-ON YOU ASK? I spent longer prepping these things than a human should spend on this kind of thing so I need to share it with someone and I know you’re dying to know (please skip this):

Left to right starting from top: Tokyo travel guide (thanks Christine and Ryan!), tissues, change purse (MC!!!), mini document folio with printed tickets/documents/travel insurance/prescription info for my epi pens, pouch of medicine I might need on the plane + epi pens, glasses case and contacts, DS, HAPPY HOME DESIGNER (Alex surprised me with this last minute.. omgomg I can’t wait to play it), iPad Mini full of audio books/e-books/apps/shows to keep me busy, Momofuku Milk Bar Corn Cookies to snack on for breakfast, Extra outfit just in case, Toiletries for the plane, notebook, Passport wallet with boarding passes/currency/cards, gum, and Portable power stick (Thanks Kirk seriously this thing is freaking useful).
Okay, time is running out – Ahh! Gotta go talk to you soon bye!
